My name is Taylor. I am a Kamilaroi, Mandandanji, Kooma woman from Tamworth NSW.
I am a teacher, now working to promote language and culture learning within our education system. As well as a passionate nature enthusiast, a friend, a big sister, partner, daughter and granddaughter within a huge family.
When I weave I feel creative, connected and natural. 'Natural' expressing that I feel connected to the medium I am using, grounded in spirit and feel a calm sense of nature within myself. I absolutely love the effect that nature (also referred to as Country) has on us, all that we do and who we are. I love the textures, the imperfections, the wonders and am inspired by them everyday.
'Baayangali' means nature in my Gamilaraay language. Welcome to Baayangali Inspirations!
